The Associate Director, Business Development will report directly to the Vice President, Philanthropy and Corporate Affairs and work closely with others in the department and across the Council. This position will work on all matters related to corporate revenue and business development, including responsibility for the renewals lifecycle and projections; and the prospective corporate member strategy and pipeline.
The Corporate Affairs department, which administers the Corporate Program, is the Council’s primary point of contact with the private sector. The Corporate Program raises more than $6 million through its membership program, which offers a forum for executives from roughly 150 leading global business and financial firms to explore issues at the nexus of business and foreign policy.
Qualified candidates will have related experience that required interaction with senior business executives, an understanding of issues related to business and foreign policy, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and to lead projects, sound judgment, and the highest level of discretion.
