All who are selected to participate in CFR’s Blavatnik Internship Program and Robina Franklin Williams Internship Program receive training in the field of foreign policy and international affairs as well as skills training in writing, research, program planning, and much more.

The DC multimedia intern will have the opportunity to learn more about audio and video production, researching and writing, and international relations at large. This internship will serve as a stepping stone for a variety of opportunities in foreign policy, journalism, and media. They will gain skills in working cohesively in a team/office environment, bolstering their researching and writing skills, and learning more about media and production.

CFR internships are paid, require a 14 - 18 hour commitment, and are filled on a rolling basis.

• Helping to support the digital team and gain valuable experience in researching, writing, and audio and visual production
• Supporting the digital team by helping with research for CFR's podcasts and videos
• Playing an integral role in the content that is published weekly by the visual team

• Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in international relations, political science, history, or journalism
• Previous administrative, journalism, web, and multimedia experience is a plus
• Basic interest in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Additional language skills preferred, but not required
• Keen eye for detail and eager to learn
