Overview

The Council on Foreign Relations is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to provide support for investigating and triaging Help Desk issues as well as assisting the Quality Assurance team on current projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance and Automation, this position will collaborate and work with the development team, product and delivery team and the product managers on all of the Digital Services products.

The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for testing the CFR.org products and websites.
  • Communicate with developers and product managers during the testing cycles.
  • Triage production issues and route them accordingly.
  • Work to reproduce issues reported in production.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one to three years experience as a Quality Assurance tester
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a Help Desk environment preferred
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills
  • Detail oriented in written tasks
  • Ability to work independently to meet specified goals

Pay Range

$60,000 to $75,000 per year

Pay commensurate with experience and education
