Overview

The Audio Visual Coordinator will provide support to the Event Operations team in the New York office. This is an on-site position, reporting to the Associate Director, Audio Visual Management. 

The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):

  • Setup, test, run, and breakdown the audio-visual requirements for various events and rental activities. This includes but is not limited to microphone setups, visual and presentation setups, setting appropriate stage and room lighting, virtual and hybrid component setups, and testing audio levels.
  • Assist in studio interviews in the form of podcast and video recordings, live network TV and radio interviews.
  • Editing and uploading various event media to our online platforms.
  • Perform various audio visual related administrative tasks including making and maintaining equipment lists, performing daily audio-visual system checks, and uploading media into our digital asset manager.
  • Back-up the Events Production Manager in preparing video wall content.
  • Take direction from multiple event managers on their audio visual related event needs.

 

Pay Range

$55,000 to $65,000 per year

Pay commensurate with experience and education

Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in a related field preferred
  • 3 or more years of work experience in a related field
  • Expertise in audio visual technology and equipment including Polycom, Crestron, and BIAMP
  • Experience with large format video wall and proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Audition a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed for upcoming events
  • Ability to work collegially and collaboratively with vendors
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar including early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and on work within tight, shifting deadlines
