Overview

Reporting to the Director, Talent, the newly created Talent Partner, Internships position will oversee and run CFR’s internship program. Currently, CFR hosts about 150 interns each year, split into three cohorts (Fall, Spring, Summer). In their first year, the Talent Partner will be asked to help evaluate, provide recommendations, and implement changes to the internship program to create better alignment with CFR’s current and future organizational needs.

 

In collaboration with the Director, Talent, the Talent Partner will play a central role in understanding the needs of departments seeking interns and identifying how to best match talent. There is a great opportunity to create a more formal talent pipeline for CFR’s intern alumni and increase engagement beyond the program.

 

The Talent Partner, Internships, will serve as the primary resource to both interns and intern supervisors throughout the program if issues arise and provide coaching to both parties. Furthermore, the Talent Partner will be involved with programming for interns’ professional development and work closely with the Learning, Development, and Engagement team to create and lead sessions.

 

In addition, a key part of this role will be to implement meaningful metrics to evaluate impact of the program.

The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):

  • Serve as main point of contact for internship program at CFR
  • Continuously look for opportunities for efficiencies and enhancements to internship program
  • Manage recruitment processes for internships, working with teams to best place students across the organization
  • Coordinate logistics for onboarding and offboarding for interns, with support from HR department assistants
  • Identify and attend career fairs, evaluating return on investment
  • Oversee design and implementation of CFR-wide programming for interns
  • In collaboration with learning, development and engagement teammates, deliver internship onboarding and professional development sessions; develop and provide resources for internship supervisors, including on-the-job coaching
  • Assist with employee relations situations regarding interns that may arise
  • Complete required internship program deliverables
  • Check in with interns throughout program and conduct exit interviews, collecting both qualitative and quantitative feedback
  • Work with Director, HR Systems & People Analytics to create meaningful internship dashboards, reporting insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Between internship busy periods, assist the rest of talent team with additional recruitment as necessary
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of full-cycle talent/recruitment experience
  • Campus recruitment and/or internship program management experience
  • Experience handling employee relations situations
  • Comfort and ability to (co)lead internal trainings and workshops

Compensation and Benefits

  • The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
